A new holiday home is being created for a small family in Rørvig. The facade takes inspiration from both the existing house and the many black painted summer houses that define the area, including Erik Korshagen’s own retreat. Large windows and double doors are complemented by distinctive green sliding panels in painted wood. These add depth and character to the architecture, create shifting patterns of light and shadow, and allow the house to be fully closed when not in use. The project is under construction and will be realized with bio-based materials and a breathable facade.
