Kaliberhalle is a cultural music center in Uppsala, designed as both a public venue and a hub for musical production. Located between Studenternas arena and the City Garden, the building anchors itself in the city’s cultural landscape while opening towards the surrounding park. A large ground-floor stage with capacity for 1,500 standing defines the main public space, complemented by a smaller stage at the top that hosts intimate concerts and rehearsals. Between these levels, rehearsal rooms, a diner, and shared spaces form a vertical sequence dedicated to music-making. By stacking functions around performance, the building creates a dynamic environment where audiences, musicians, and everyday city life converge
