The existing layout is preserved, with the three main buildings along Bluttrainweg forming the backbone of the southern park. A key quality of the site is the fluid transition between inside and outside, which the users identify as essential. The design team takes this as the central narrative of the project. This is expressed above all through the transformation of the leisure facility, which gains a new appearance and opens more strongly towards the landscape while retaining its identity. The former image of a floating ship is reinterpreted as a tribune-like building, firmly oriented towards the park.
