Lütjens Padmanabhan
Founded in 2007 by Oliver Lütjens and Thomas Padmanabhan, Lütjens Padmanabhan Architekten has recently focused its work on housing projects in the residential districts surrounding Zürich, Basel, and Munich. While drawn to a more refined and urbane architecture, the architects have embraced with a certain lightness the reality that much of their practice is situated within the everyday anonymity of suburbia. Their pursuit of a complex architectural language distinguishes the office from the craft-oriented mainstream of contemporary Swiss architecture.
